History of Development

Biotechnological works on creating a new generation line of cosmetics began in autumn 2004 in Vena Laboratory in Gdansk, Poland. The advanced stages of the research were carried out in cooperation with a Specialist Research Laboratory ITA-TEST and an Institute of Dermatological Research and Chemical Cosmetic Products in Warsaw.

The research was carried out after an enthusiastic reception of Natural Collagen of fish origin in a pure gel from by consumer market. Thanks to spectacular results observed by customers, Natural Collagen has sold in nearly half a million packages in just two years 2004-2006, without any advertising campaign, only through recommendation of one customer to another. Natural Collagen invention and development was a breakthrough in world cosmetology and the greatest discovery in the history of Polish biochemistry.

Polish fish collagen appeared on the market when leading cosmetic concerns began to withdraw from supplementing their top products whit bovine collagen - so far the only known collagen. Bovine collagen has been withdrawn from cosmetics as being biologically inactive, highly allergenic and most importantly, potentially carrying BSE prions. Until now there has been no alternative to it. The so called "plant collagen" was a virtual expression, devised for advertising purposes. Collagen is a spiral chain of minimum 20 amino acids produced only by vertebrates, not plants, in their metabolic cycle.

Cosmetic Line Colway is unique for its numerous distinctive features.

Its products are supplemented with collagen. Colway collagen is obtained from skin of freshwater fish that have no immunological system. This reduces the rate of allergic reactions to collagen to 1-2 per mille of the population, from 4-5 per cent in case of collagen of bovine origin. Moreover, fish collagen has the ability to penetrate the epidermis and having been used by hundreds of thousands of customers over three years, it proved salutary to skin, producing effects reaching far beyond cosmetology.

Colway cosmetic range is the first in world to include in its ingredients the latest biochemical inventions, like Matrixyl with active vitamins, e.g. Panthenol, organic acids, e.g. Allantoin, and oils, e.g. borage (cucumber) and rice oil. All the ingredients work in synergy, that is co-work to increase each other's effectiveness.

The ingredients of Colway cosmetics include most desired plant extracts (Noni, Aloe, Gatu-Kola), soy fitoestrogen (Soyadin) and of course lyophilized fish collagen.

The producer of Colway Cosmetic Line get their product components in a barter exchange for lyophilized collagen from one of the market leading cosmetic concerns. Usage and Effectiveness

The representative, most important and most effective product in Colway Cosmetic Line is Natural Collagen. The exfoliant, toner, day and night creams have been designed to support the effectiveness of pure collagen and maintain its fragile molecular spiral structure. Skin exfoliated 1-2 times a week, treated with a toner and - moistened again with clean water, will absorb as much collagen and elastin peptides as it needs. Natural Collagen is the only protein product on the world market that not only replenishes the collagen deficit in skin but also increases its production, stimulating the action of fibroblasts. Thus it can stop skin aging processes for years.

Natural Collagen always has to be applied on clean and damp skin. If not all Natural Collagen gets absorbed it means too big a portion has been applied. After a few minutes an appropriate Colway cream may be applied. Colway Night and Day creams combined with Natural Collagen therapy will ensure your skin is fully nourished and revitalised. Day cream is ideal as a make-up base. Night cream can also be used as cream for the eye area. Both creams will eliminate tightness of skin caused by the watertight film that Natural Collagen leaves on skin surface.

Natural Collagen can be used by all age groups, to all skin types. It is non-allergic and non-irritant. Other products in Colway Cosmetic Line are also for all age groups. However, due to presence of plant oils and strongly active substances, they may not recommended for delicate or mixed skin. Carrying out a personal patch test before application is advised.
